Cartoon Project

This is the cartoon project in which we made a cartoon in illustrator. This is my finished product, and it is awful awful awful. My favorite part was shading and highlighting. Coincidentally, I also learned how to shade in this project!

And that is the final post for this blog. Hope this senior project goes well for you, whoever you are.

Toys for Tots

This is the Toys for Tots project. My favorite part of the project is that it actually got selected to be an advertisement for Toys for Tots. I wish I had use images that actually belonged to me, so I would have gotten cash money. I learned that borders really help a poster get the advertisement across.

My Photo

This is the 'Your Photo' project. I decided to use an action pose, and somewhere along the line I apparently thought skydiving was the best choice of action. I wish I had actually properly cut and pasted my face, as it looks rather dark and out of place compared with the rest of the picture. I learned that replacing faces of people is pretty hard. You should try it sometime.

Story Project

This is my story project. It's not so much of a story as it is a sequence of images. Oh well. My favorite part was taking the pictures (not to mention the easiest). I wish I had done the 3D properly. I learned how to create a 3D-looking box, but I learned mostly that I should comb my hair before I take pictures.

Pop Culture Collage Project

This is the pop culture collage project. I chose the 2000s for my project. My favorite part was selecting the images. I wish I had blended last, as doing it at the final stages provided complex problems. I learned that you must plan before you create, or the image becomes a garbled mess.

Business Cards

This project focused on creating fictional business cards for a fictional business. My favorite part was making up the company in general.
I wish I didn't have to apply so many filters, as most of the images looked better without them. I learned that guides are your friend. Seriously.
